shader question
This is kind of a follow up post on something I made last week.
I fractured a bunch of hexagons and put random and shader on it and have the hexagons moving randomly on the Y axis, here is what I came up with
This works but I would like to fine tune this. What I want is if I had the value of 10, black would = 0 and white would =10 movement on the Y axis. With Random black=0 but white = 1-10. Here is the image I have been using on the shader.
I would think the “plain effector” would achieve this but I’m not sure how to link this up to the shader.
