SfVstServer
Posted by Roger Read on May 11, 2013 at 10:21 pmRecently, whenever I open Vegas Pro 12, a small empty window labelled SfVstServer has appeared. It does not seem to do anything, as I close it and Vegas works normally.
Any idea what this is, and how to get rid of it?

Yes, but Peter explained what it was. This is a process that checks your VST’s. Before Sony started using this, if a VST was bad, it would hang Vegas or ACID. Now that they use a separate process to check VST’s, it can only hang that process and not Vegas. I’m guessing that you may have a bad VST which is causing this window to show when it should not have.
