severe sync issue 1080i
Editing on final cut 6.0 using .mov files which were shot on 1080i HDV camera.
Mov files are fine and in sync, as soon as i bring them into final cut and play in the viewer they go out of sync by at least 4 seconds so clip gets to 4 secs near the end goes black but you still hear the audio.
Also when editing on the timeline
(which is set to 1920 x 1080 HDTV 1080i 16.9, 59.94. 48 KHZ 24 bit apple pro res 422 (HQ))clip does not like any effects being put on it, and can only use a cut or it changes the out point. and terribly out of sync
video does not need a render but the audio requires one.What am i doing wrong???

Hi Jo,
A good starting to get rid of the problems would be to update your FC.
FC 6.0 is one of the buggiest ever versions in the history of FC.

Hi Jo,
Apple released FC 6.01 barely one week after FC 6.0 was for sale.
Was really full of problems.
Also FC 6.0.1 had a short life.
FC 6.0.2 came with new features.
I think to remember it was quite stable.
Apple tried to fix or implement something with FC 6.0.3 but was also very buggy.
I think you won’t regret if you update.
