  settings keep corrupting!!!!

  Anyone know why settings in FCP would keep corrupting? I restore them, everyhting is ok, I go to layback to tape (30min), settings go corrupt and system crashes. REALLY frustrating, just wanted to see if anyone knows why this is happening.

  4G Ram
  FCP 5.0.4
