    Howdy all,

I am wondering what the best settings are for me to use Apple’s Compressor to compress a 20 minute 165GB Uncompressed HD Quicktime file into a H.264 or other Quicktime file so that it would be as large as possible while still fitting on a data DVD, in other words, as close to 4.7 GB quicktime movie. When I drop in the H.264 setting from the Quicktime folder in Compression Settings and hit the Inspector it says file size unknown and it takes so long I think it will still be huge. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

go into your video settings and put in a custom number for your data rate. now when you check back to where it said “unknown”, there will be a number there.
