I need help with setting my system in order to get better results in burning the DVDs.

sorry, I missed the thread, this should go with monitor calibration.
The user manual on line as a calibration procedure using color bars. They refer to all kinds of buttons on the monitor but heck, my apple 27 inch cinema display is void of buttons. What to do? To make matters worse, it changes the brightness based on the ambient light. Anyone else using one of these?

Most computers monitors haven’t been designed to be properly calibrated.
Calibrated monitors are only necessary in some pro environments (Graphics, video), and the solution are Pro monitors.
