    Hello

I am trying to set up a reference monitor with After Effects CS5 using Deck Link Studio 2 via SDI on a Mac Pro.

    In the system preferences:

Set output: All video, 4 analog audio & 2 AES/EBU
Set input: SDI Video & SDI Audio
Use video set up at in NTSC: at 7.5 IRE for use in the USA
    checked: Use 1080p no 1080PsF
checked: Remove field jitter when video is paused
Set default video standard as: HD 1080p 25 (Which is the format I usually work in)
    When not playing video: Black

    In AE preference:

    Output Device: Blackmagic Video Output
Output Modes: (this is where I have problem)

My comp is set to HDTV 1080p 25fps. But I couldn’t find a matching setting in the output modes drop down menu . I tried many settings, but none of them give me the result I was expecting. It either has this subtle but unbearable flickering/strobing or terrible interlacing(because I tried to set to to 50i).

    Am I missing something?
Does anyone have similar experience ? Can anyone help?

hi , I’m Cyril ,I’m French so, sorry for my text mistake…

I think I ‘ve got the same trouble. in AE and in Première Pro CC.
I did a color corction in DaVinci Rsolve and my project is nice on VLC player but… when I want to make post prod effect on première and after effect ( dynamic link) the contrast and the saturation is to intense…
    maybe I think it’s a configuration problême…

if you have some sentense it’ll be a plaisure to know it

    have nice work

    XXX Cyril
