setting up Motion for HD
I am doing some HD work now and have run into a problem with Motion. I have a Mac Pro Dual 3 Ghz running Motion and output to a monitor with an Intensity Pro card. I have tried a 1280 x 720 setup and this gives me in Ram Preview a fixed 25 frames per second realtime preview. When I change to a 1440 x 1080 project however I can only get 12 frames per second even when I do a Ram preview. What are peoples advise on creating HD material with Motion and getting a realtime Ram preview.
I don’t have a raid but I assumed since it was coming from the Ram it would make a difference.
