I’m setting up a home edit station and am (sadly) confused about colorspace/management and making sure everything plays nicely. Before I was laid off a whole engineering department took care of all that…

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro running AdobePremiere going through a CalDigit TS3 Plus dock to a BenQ 32″ PD3200u monitor that I am using for Premiere. I’m editing mostly for the web on this.

Q1. Which Display Profile do I set my Macbook to?

Q2. The BenQ is set to it’s own Display Profile. (I assume that is correct?) I also have several options in Picture Mode (on the monitor itself) including sRGB and Rec. 709 – what should I set it to?

Q3. Do I need to set anything in Premiere to match Q1 and Q2?

    SEPERATELY:

Q4. I’ve also been doing broadcast editing from home – the company sent me a Dell laptop that I plug into the CalDigit to use the BenQ as the desktop, then remotely control a Windows Avid Bay 29 miles away. What Display Profile do I use for the BenQ Monitor in this scenario?

I should know this stuff after XX years of editing but sadly I don’t.

    Much thanks,

    David
