I have a multibridge pro and I’m trying to get a listing of the correct settings to use with DVCProHD footage shot from the HVX200.

Every setting I choose I have to render once put into the canvas in FCP. There are so many choices are there a couple that should be use?. The DVCProHD choices don’t sync out of the MBP box on the monitor. Is this the way the workflow is with the MBP or am I missing something?

    I shoot in both 1080i and p and 720p.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Mike,

You have to be more specific about how you’ve ingested you clips (whether pulldown was applied) and what frame rate they were shot in. Remember to create a new sequence after selecting the easy setups. The setups do not affect exisiting sequences.

    In 1080, I shoot 60i, and 30p

In 720, I shoot 30p with variable frame rates ranging from 12 to 60 fps.

I bring the files in via the P2 import in FCP.

I’m not sure if pull down is applied.
