Help! I am putting together a series of .10 second clips and want to add an arrow the first two seconds of each clip to identify the subject. I have been able to add the arrow but I can’t get it to go away. Do I have to do each clip before I import to the storyboard or can I import a movie to the storyboard and then edit the arrows in?

By ‘the storyboard’ I assume you mean the timeline.
Add your arrow to a track above the video (I assume you have an arrow with a transparent background)and place it as needed.
Shrink the arrow event to two seconds by grabbing the end of the event and dragging to the left.
You can then copy and paste the arrow event to your other clips and will just have to adjust the arrow position.

Thanks for the reply, I thought I had an arrow but when I put it on track one it took up 3/4 of the picture and I can’t figure out how to reduce the arrow size.
I did play around with the cookie cutter effect and changed it to an arrow and placed it in the video correctly, however I can’t get it to move down to track one. I tried dragging and any number of other ways but no luck.
    Any idea’s?

    Thanks for the help.

Again, I think the easiest way is to use an arrow (or pointing finger) from the font Wing Dings and place it as you would a title. You can fully size and move it as you wish.

Wing Dings 3 has numerous different arrows that you can use

You can also shrink the large arrow you have with the track motion feature, you can resize and position it as you like. Hope this helps. Danny Hays
