    Hello all,

I need to output a set of mattes for a rotoscope project I’m involved in. Each shot has 4 shapes so I was asked to put each shape on a separate channel. Can you do this in After Effects? I know you can do it in Nuke and Silhouette but I can’t figure out how to do this in AE.

    Thanks for any help!

Not doable for 4 channels with Ae, as Ae will not preserve RGB values for pixels where A=0.

Thanks for the reply! I’ll just have to send an external alpha I suppose..
