you won’t want to change the comp size of the 15921 x 1200 comp…. you’d rather create 4 new comps at a quarter the width, so 3980×1200 (one for each wall), then bring your big comp into those and reposition it for each wall.

the repositioning of the big comp within each small comp becomes a math thing… the right-center comp is the easiest to reposition the main comp within, so start there…

create a new comp that is 3980×1200, bring in the big comp. set the x position of that layer to 0 (that’s a zero).

after that you can duplicate the 3980×1200 comp in the project window, open the duplicate and add or subtract the width of the comp (3980) to/from the x position of the main comp. so for the right-most comp, the x position will be -3980. for the left -center comp it will be 3980. and for the left-most comp it will be 7960.

    does that make sense?

    Dear Dave La Ronde,

Happily for me all that has been done.
You are quite right with your analysis though.
It’s actually twelve projectors mounted high. It looks really great.

The set up is an existing one and all the really tricky stuff has been sorted out. I just have to provide the content and enter it into a pre made WatchOut template.

Given various cross platform issues and my inexperience with After Effects and WatchOut, this is quite tricky enough.

I just spent two hours reformatting an external hard drive to FAT 32 so it would work to move files from AE, which is on a Mac, to WatchOut, which is on a PC.
    It was a struggle.

    Thanks.
