I need to create a marketing piece that uses those cheap 3d glasses (you know the ones that are red on one side and blue on the other). The user would tear out the glasses and look at the artwork or ad. Does anyone have any experience on how I would set up the artwork or offset the images and artwork so that they appear 3d. Is there any software that does this. Or a simple way to set it up in InDesign?

    Any Help would be appreciated.

They’re called Anaglyphs. There are plug-ins for Photoshop and various things like:

I’ve had some success in creating these by offsetting the cyan and magenta plates but in a grayscale image. So, convert to grayscale then back to cmyk. Or, rgb and offset the red and green.

Do a search and you’ll find some more info.

The other kind where you offset two pms colors is more for line-art.
