    Hello,

I’m working on a project that’s pretty budget challenged… as in, conforming everything in Avid. After I get the color corrected footage, the graphic elements, and the audio professionally mixed, how do I make sure that the commercial is ready to broadcast? As in, the color/picture is in range? Is there a way of accomplishing this in Avid, or does say DG clip all the spare pixels and what not for me?

You can apply a safe color limiter effect to the very top track to ensure the output is correct (and you need to set up that effect to be what your delivery needs)
But there’s a lot of other stuff to check and get right for broadcast deliverables.
