    Hello again.

I have recently installed after effects, and also have been watching
Adobe TV to learn its interface first.

But I find myself working with a tutorial, and this has me stumped.
I cannot seem to locate an answer yet.

IN Adobe After effects, when adding text, then adding 3d, my Axis gizmo
is always on the left hand lower corner. I would like to move it to center or any where else so to do 3d camera panning and 3d motion of the text.

But to rotate a text line i need the gizmo in the middle , not the end.

–I’m sure it is a simple thing but I would love the help–

I think you are talking about the anchor point.

Hit “Y” on you keyboard, select you anchor point, and drag it to where you want it to be.
Hitting “Y” gives you control over the “pan behind tool”.
This can also be achieved by selecting the 6th button from the left on you toolbar at the top of your AE window.
It is the one with the dashed square and 4 arrows pointing outward.

Or, if you have your text set to be center-aligned, the anchor point will automatically be in the center.
