  • Set clip in point numerically using frame numbers

Posted by Neil Kidney on May 17, 2013 at 9:09 am

    Hi guys,

I have a 1.5 hour clip that I need to use in various edits using just a few seconds of the clip, and I have the start point for each edit as a frame number.
Is there a way to set the in point numerically?

    Cheers.

Open the clip in the Source window and double click on the Played timecode indicator. After the numbers are highlighted enter in your starting timecode and press enter. The playhead will move to that timecode position and you can then select your in point.
