Activity Forums Square Box CatDV Server catalog folders

I might be missing something, but I’m finding it hard to organize the catalogs that are published to the server. Since we have so many clients, I’m trying to add subfolders in the Server > Catalogs folder. Once I create the folder and drag the catalog to it, the new folder completely disappears, but the catalog stays in the original “Catalogs” folder.

Like I said, I might just be missing something obvious (lack of sleep isn’t fun), but I am sure I’m not.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like you have the Workgroup server edition?

That looks like it might be an issue specific to the workgroup version. I believe what you’re doing should work. We’ll investigate and if necessary include a fix in the next client update.

On 9.0.0 and server 6.6 it’s working here. OSX 10.6.8 with current Java.

I’m running version 8.1, so maybe that could be part of the problem. I’m going to try and see if we can just upgrade to 9.0.

    Thanks, guys.

I’m not sure about 8.1 but we found an issue where folders wouldn’t work as intended if you use CatDV 9.0.0 Workgroup Edition. This will be fixed in 9.0.1.

Awesome. I think we might actually be upgrading to 9.0 soon, which will be great!
