For some reason I cannot see text in the Explorer part of Vegas. Also all of my text is now white/transparent squares when I try to use the Sony Titles and Text. Legacy seems to work, but all of the text that I have will need to be changed. I have read that this is a bug, but has anyone found a way to make it work again? I have to get this project done and right now I have NO text and can’t see anything in Explorer

Thank you so much for any help that you might be able to provide.

BTW….I did download the latest update to Vegas and that didn’t help.

    Thanks again,

    Mark

Did you install over the previous Build of Vegas? If so could be carrying forward the issue to this “newer” build – yes?

I thought that doing the Factory reset would help, but that would presumably get you the error you have already. That error looks like a Video Redraw to File system error….. hmmm… I don’t know, other than a complete uninstall and reinstall of Vegas for starters.

BTW how is the housekeeping of your System drive? Much room left?

I just did a complete removal and reinstall of Vegas, and the same issue is there. I have about 400gigs left on my 1TB drive, so I don’t think that my drive is too crowded. I am at a loss as to what to do. I am not sure if this is a Vegas issue or my computer. The computer is an HP 9180F (which has been a huge problem within itself) with Intel i7 9GB of Ram 64bit Win 7.

If anyone has run into this issue, I would sure like to know how to fix it.

    Thanks,

I don’t use the Vegas explorer, bit it sure looks like what I get when I try to edit a text document and I don’t have the font installed that the document wants.

What happens if you go to the icon view?

I was going to suggest the same thing, Steve. What language settings is Windoze set to?

Windows 7 Pro64, i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, SSD boot drive, GTX 570 Graphics, Vegas Pro 12
