Serious long export Times, is this normal?
Im on a Macbook PRo 2.4ghz, exporting a 90 minute Mpeg2 from compressor to be made into a DVD. Seems to be taking around 15 hours. Is that normal?

Indicates something may be wrong with your media drive. Give us the low down on it and the last time you repaired it.

Its a Lacie Firewire 800, 750 Gig.
I bought it new just a couple of months ago, had no problems with it so far. Is this a drive issue, or some sort of bug in FCP do you think?
Never had this problem before, Im assuming its something to do with the long timline, since until now i never cut anything longer than 22 minutes. This is 3 hours.

New drive? Definitely a culprit. How’s it formatted? HFS + ? Journaled or not?
