    Hi

    im a beginner at cinema 4d,
    and i have this strange problem i cannot track the reason to.
    polygons seem twisted, when i do the basic procedure of
    extrude and scale .
    perfectly shown on the picture below
    1.add a new box
    2.extrude a polygon
    3.scale it down , and watch this happen

    at first i thought it has somthing to do with video card so i tested with another one.
    i also trying aligning normals, without any luck.
    if this thing would not show up on the render, i wouldnt care much
    about it.

    btw:when exporting the 3d model to blender, it shows fine.

    try turning down the phong angle to 30 or something like that.

    i was just now reading about the phong tag
    then i saw your answer here

    Thank you, It Helped.

    (added a phong Tag to the object and lowered the angle down to 11 degrees)

    is there a global way to do that
    or does this mean i need to add this to every object ?

    Oops Sorry, Just realised Every Object already has a phong Tag
