Serious Capture Problem
Hi
I am using FCP version5.0.2 and digitizing a Beta SP from Sony J30 into Final Cut.
The problem is the clips I digitize doen’t carry the timecode from the tape instead all my clips starting timecode is 00.00.00.00 after digitizing.
Please Heeeeeeeeeelp!

Are you using serial control with the deck? This is how the timecode would be communicated between the tape and Final Cut Pro.

I run a J3/902 here with RS-422 and it works fine. Be sure you’re set up for RS-422 control
