Serial number for Resolve Lite ??
Downloaded Resolve Lite and documentation without trouble.
The Lite pdf refers to to “DaVinci Resolve 8.0 Configuration for Mac OS X”When I try to download the Configuration for Mac OSX…it asks for a serial number.

Nevermind…the configuration pdf unpacks with the Lite installation. I wonder why the Lite downloads list the configuration pdf but then require a password? Guess it’s just the webmasters way of having fun.

Just enter 123456 for serial. It should work.

Yep, that worked. I was trying to be a good boy and read all the documentation before I installed anything. Strange that this part of the documentation requires a “serial number” but the application does not.

That shouldn’t be the case and we are having the web team rectify that situation. In the meantime you can get to the Resolve configuration guide the follow ways.
Directly: https://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/detail/register/download/?fid=23791&pid=4448&os=mac
Or by clicking on the other products DaVinci Resolve Software or Resolve Software in the product drop down list. This will take you to the next page where you can download the configuration guide without a serial number.
The configuration guides are all the same so either way will work in the interim while we get that particular page sorted.
