serial number change
is there a way to change the SN on FCP studio? I bought a laptop a month back that already had studio on it and since i was waiting for my universal upgrade to arrive in the mail, i just used the one already install. Now that i have my own copy, i would like to change out the SN so that i can register it in my name and have a clean copy. is there a way to do this without unstalling and installing?

Do a search for Final Cut Studio System ID and trash that file. It’s in Library > Application Support > ProApps.
