I’m working on a project made up of a series of very similarly set-up videos (they all use the same assets, etc.). I’ve got a template project file with multiple sequences, and I’d like to be able to just open the template, “Save Project As…”, and then edit for each individual video.

My question is about whether I’ll need to rename the sequences for each individual project as well, or if once I’ve saved the whole project as a separate file the sequences are specific to that one and only project save. My worry is that I’ll change a sequence in a later project and that’ll somehow affect a sequence in an earlier saved project.

Thanks in advance for your response!

NO matter what project they are in, the sequences will be exported with the sequence name. So you might want to be careful about that.
