I am using media composer 11.? I backed up my main sequence and over the weekend came back to edit and found out I had edited on my backup and not my original. Basically I have 3 copies of my sequence 2 backups and 1 master. I made a mistake and edited revisions to the master and to the backup on separate days. Is there anyway of checking 2 sequences simultaneously to see the differences. 1 hour program with about 200 edits.

    Thanks

There’s probably a better way, but I would use superimpose on a video mixdown, but I have no idea how long it would take mixdown a one hour program. That’s what I do with commercials and other shorter fare, at least.

Thanks – I ended up scaling the sequences the same size and toggling between them in different sections. Worked out ok. Next time my backup sequence wont be in the same bin as my master sequence.

    Thanks
