sequence tabs

Not exactly sure what you mean by “loading.” I think the tabs appear in alphabetical order if for instance you have 3 open tabs on a project. But I could be wrong on this.

If you’re talking about, how they are “loading” when your project is being opened, does it matter what order they are being brought up?

Hi.. thanx for getting back..
Not on opening the project.. dont care how they load then.
My tabs are not appearing in alphabetical order.. (neither are the other 20 stations we just upgraded with
7).
It seems random.

In the Source Monitor.. they load left to right.. meaning every time i load a sequence it puts the tab to the right of the last sequence i loaded.
It should be doing that in my timeline as well.. but its not..

do you know if there is some setting i for this?

I’ve never had to do that. But I’m someone will mention it for real.

ive never really used final cut without having the sequence tabs in the viewer monitor.

Ok, seriously how do you get sequence tabs in the viewer monitor? I must be misunderstanding something or you’re misspeaking.

For example, on a current project I have 2 sequences open. In the sequence window, I have two tabs. Sequence A and Sequence B. The tabs in my viewer window are ALWAYS Video, then the audio tabs, then filters, then Motion. In the Canvas I have sequence tabs just like in the sequence window. Is that what you’re talking about? The Canvas window?
