Hello again all, here I am with yet another dumb question for Premiere that I can not find the answer for in the manual or online after a few hours searching. 🙁

I am converting from FCP to Premiere and one thing that was really, really easy in FCP was changing the starting timecode for the sequence and I can’t figure out how to do it in Premiere.

For example, my project is 28:30;00 with 30 seconds of leader. In FCP, I would just change the sequence settings to start the timeline to 59:30;00 and then at 1:00;00 I would start the show. However, with Premiere the timecode starts at 00:00:00;00 and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to make it go to 59:30:00. The CC I have for my shows start at 01:00:00;00 so I need to have the timeline start at 59:30;00.

My output is 3 different formats: DVCAM, DVD & MPEG-2 for FTP upload. So maybe there is a different workflow I don’t know about, or an easy setting I am just not seeing, but if anyone has any ideas or solutions I would appreciate it. Thanks!
