  • Sequence shows as white in Canvas

I have imported QT movie into my project and have dropped it down into the timeline. When I scrub through it, nothing shows in the Canvas though with Audio Scrubbing set to On there is sound. If I play forward by hitting the “L” key, the movie does show in the Canvas. If it makes a difference, View/Video Playback is set to: Digital Cinema Desktop Preview – Main.
    What should I do?

What is your sequence setting, and the codec of your QT movie?

#15 White or Black Canvas or Viewer

Shane’s Stock Answer #15: White or Black Canvas or Viewer

Make sure the canvas or viewer are selected then go to VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB. It might be set to ALPHA.

    OR…

Click on the drop down menu above the Viewer or Canvas and make sure that you are on IMAGE or IMAGE + WIREFRAME.

    Shane,

“VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB” did the trick! Thanks so much!

Now, how would I of had that set like that?

You probably accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut. I think that one is shift-W?
