    I just want to check that I have the right sequence settings in FCP before I start my next edit. I’ve ingested the Sony EX1 SxS card using XDCAM transfer and I’m ready to take clips from the browser to the timeline.

    I filmed 1080p (25 framerate) HQ and want to edit in HD before downconverting prior to outputting and exporting.

    The compressor settings at the bottom are straightforward from my easy setup (Ex 1080p (25…)
    Field dominance is none
    Square pixel ratio ?
    Framesize 1920×1080?
    Aspect ratio ?? – HDTV 1080I?

    The last three I would appreciate some guidance on. The last two appear to be the closest preset.

    Why not use the 1080p25 XDCAM EX Easy Setup?
    I select the Easy Setup and change Render to Apple ProRez to avoid the GOP conform.
