Sequence settings for 720×480
Hi
I have a pile of footage shot in 1080P30 (VBR)
FCP 6.06
2×2.8 quad core intel 14GB memoryI have to deliver in 720×480.
My sequence settings are as followsframe: 720×480 NTSC DV 3×2
Pixel aspect: NTSC- CCIR/DV
dominance: none
Compressor XDCAM HD 1080p30 (VBR)Is this what i should be running it in. The reason i ask is that with any zooms i get a random stutter in the movement. ie it doesnt seem to happen in the same place.
The other point of interest is the color when the video is stopped is different to when it plays. Is there some color space controls that i am neglecting somewhere?The same material dumped into a PRO RES 422 (HQ) sequence with the same frame and pixel settings seems to yeild much smoother and better results. I feel like im missing something.

good reading, Although i have noticed that using the NTSC pixel ratio settings seems to squash my image. And if i use the square pixels it comes out looking the right shape. (3/2)
Funny thing is i have some footage that was shot by another person with the same camera settings and it seems to only render down correctly to a to a 4/3 window despite having the 720×480 window box checked and NTSC CCIR601 pixel ratio.
