Posted by Micah Ginn on January 17, 2007 at 5:59 pmif i shoot in 24p, what sequence setting should i use? I’ve always used the DV NTSC 48khz setting (default) on FCP…should i use 24 or 23.98?

January 17, 2007 at 6:08 pmDV/NTSC at 29.97. Only 24PA is 23.98 (24PN in Panasonic HD land).

When shooting in 24p Normal, the camera is adding normal standard 3:2 pulldown to the video, which results in 24p footage designed to work with any non-linear editing suite and it will play back and look good directly to any NTSC monitor.
