    Hello all,
For about 95% of the projects I edit I use the DVC-Pro/NTSC codec, since I acquire and dump back down onto mini-dv.
I never up convert my sequence to uncompressed or anything like that, since many here on the cow do not recommend that.
I have a project coming up to edit a photo montage which will be displayed on several plasma screens as well as 2 8ft screens, all looping off a DVD. The montage will include hi-res photos, as well as a still background created in LiveType.
Do you guys think it’s worth changing the setting in FCP/LiveType to a higher quality codec, and if so, which one?
    Thanks for any feedback.
