    Hello

I am using the latest version of FCP on a Powermac G5 and I have to cut a web spot in which they want the final edit to be in the same exact format and frame size as the footage which was sent to me on an external drive.

    The footage format is: Apple Photo – JPEG, 1024 x 576, millions AAC, Stereo (L R), 48khz
    25 FPS

In that the client wants to get my final cut back in this same format what project / sequence setting should I be working in. I have a powermac G5 w/ 2.7ghz processor and 4.5 gb of ram – and i will be using an external firewire 800 drive.

Any help and advice you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

    best

    Sean

You should be able to just match the sequence settings to match the clip and start editing. Because it is a non standard frame size, if you have an card for video output, it won’t be very compatible.

But just set up your sequence settings a you should be good to roll.

One note is that you might want to turn the quality of the PhotoJPEG sequence to something like 98% as 100% renders take up a lot more room. When you finish editing you could turn it back to 100% for final delivery.
