  • Sequence “not found” after deleting render files & constant frames

Posted by Sharon Mullally on June 20, 2008 at 7:00 pm

I decided to re-render a sequence because I was getting a “Quicktime error 0” message in the batch monitor when I tried to compress it for DVD. I closed out of Final Cut, deleted render files and constant frames from my scratch disk and emptied the trash. When I re-opened FCP I got a message that the sequence was not found, then an “out of memory” error. I opened my back-up copy of the project with the same results.

    I’m running FCP 5.04 on a G-5, OS 10.4.11.

I’ve run Disk Warrior, but it indicates everything’s fine.

    Any ideas?

I am having exactly the same problems and im pulling my hair out looking for a solution, i have tried to create new projects and copy the sequences across, but still no luck.

Has anyone else found a solution to this problem?

    Regards,

    James
