I need to paint a 55 frame sequence in photoshop using the filmstrip format rendered from AE.
I export the .flm sequence from AE with fields.
I then de-interlace in photoshop to paint frames.(painting on feilds is not an option here)
is it possible to re-interlace the sequence to get my fields back (as you would in flame )?

when you “deinterlace in PS” i believe you are throwing away half the frame that you need.

It sounds like you interlaced footage that you should deinterlace in AE, then take those frames (110 of them) in to PS. then bring them back in to AE
