separating spoken audio from music on a stereo clip
Hello all.
I am cutting a clip show and have a stereo clip where I want to keep what the actor is saying but we haven’t got international clearance for the music. I there fore have to get rid of the music.As it’s in stereo I vcan’t just mute the music track.
Is it possible in MC or the dub to ‘dial out’ the music somehow.
I remember a while back someone told me you can lay the two tracks together and do some eq phasing thing that knocks out there music.Thanks very much in advance.

Here’s how it’s done in Audacity.

You can export the audio from your clip as WAVE and and roundtrip it through Audacity. Then AutoSync it back to original clip.
