    In most cases, unless Im wrong, doesnt AE separate the fields upon importing your footage. for DV footage, it is usually separating the lower field. When it is not separating fields, You have to manually interpret footage.

    When renderng your file, How do you put the fields back in, and if they’re not in, how does that effect your output. For instance if you take it back into FCP to use with other footage.
