I got the lav on 1 the boom on 2 and the tracks come in helplessly married in stereo. There must be a mono import I’m missing or something? thanks.

In preferences/audio set stereo media to mono before importing.

Exactly what Ann said. You can right-click your footage in the bins, select “Modify” and make your changes. You can also create presets that will give you what you want with one simple select. Keep in mind that once this is done, you will have to place the material in your timeline again for the changes to take place there.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
