    Hi there,

Another question! I’m rendering a scene with a separate light pass, so I can composite it together later on. That’s all well and good – the light pass comes out separately. But the main pass already has my separate light composited in too. How do I get the separated light to not be a part of the main render?

Thanks if you can help. 🙂

    Best,

    Ben.

I don’t do a lot of multipass (so maybe someone else knows better) but if you have the Image layers in but leave out the RGBA layer that seems to give the right sort of thing.

I think it’s not possible, unless you were to do the whole thing in separate passes. It’s a shame though, as it would be great to render the whole scene minus 1 light, then render that light as a separate pass to control it later in compositing.

Well… if anyone thinks of a cunning workaround, please let me know!

    Thanks for you help guys.
