Sennheiser EV 100 3G crackle & pops
I am using Sennheiser EW 100 3G Lavalier wireless microphones on a Canon XF100 camera.
No matter how I set the frequencies, levels, volumes, RF or AF settings I am getting pops. Does not seem to be a matter of the clothing or position of the microphone.
Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions? Solutions? -

First, make sure that the 48V Phantom power switch for the Mic Input you are using on the camera is turned off.
If that has no effect, check the lav mic connector where it meets the transmitter. With the transmitter turned on, gently wiggle the mic connector and cable and see if the audio cuts in and out.
