December 2, 2018 at 3:10 amDoes Send To X need to be installed/ running on the computer receiving a converted ( by send to x) premier file?
My spouse sent me a Premiere xml, I converted it using send to x, shot the FCPX xml back to her and she could not import the file into X. She doesn’t have send to x on her machine. I have it on mine and the converted xml imported into X just fine on my machine.

December 2, 2018 at 12:57 pmI have 10.4.4 and she has 10.4.3 which I would not expect to make much of a difference.

December 2, 2018 at 3:31 pmDepends on if they’ve incremented the XML version in 10.4.4 and send to x. Can you export it as the previous version of FCPXML with send to X?

December 2, 2018 at 4:06 pmThat question came up for me as well. I was not able to find an export option in send to x for different versions of the XML file – I think 10.4.4 uses either FCPXML version 1.7 or 1.8 .
