    Hi!
I am on CatDV 11.03 and when I import files from Canon C300 into Catdv and can see it display two audio tracks in catv client – but when I use send to fcpx (fcpx 10.2.1) – the clips comes up fine – but is only say it has a mono track. Why is that – and what can I do to change that so it brings in both audio channels?

    Greetings

I updated my client – but the problems with sending mxf files to fcpx remains – it still imports it as an mono file – not two channels – but only one.

The latest update .06 did the trick – the bug has dissappeared and now the send to fcpx functions properly with audio

Well after further testing – it turns out it does not work. If we send two tracks video imported to CatDV from a CF card (from our C300) the problem still exists – it only bring in one channel audio.

    hi Henrik

I’m sorry to hear you are still having issues

please could you do the following

    restart catdv

create a small catalog with a few clips

export the clips as an FCP xml file

save the catalog as a local *.cdv file ( File menu > local catalogs > save as catalog )

could you then email support@squarebox.com with :

    the catalog
    the xml
    the catdv logs
a brief explanation of the issues you are having

see our guide here on exporting logs https://www.squarebox.com/exporting-logs-to-support/

    thank you dougal
