Send to compressor
I’m having some problems sending to compressor from Final Cut X
Brand new iMac 3.4ghz i7 – so it’s very clean. Compressor is installed.
When I select “Send to Compressor” nothing happens.
When I select “Export using Compressor Presets” I hear an error sound (no dialog pops up) and basically all the menus are greyed out. I have to force quit the program to continue using it.
Just curious if any one else has had issues and if there were any fixes.

Send to compressor doesn’t work for me either.
Using coompressor presets does. Did you by chance load in a bunch of custom settings from your old compressor?

It worked for me. It’s a bit slow, but it allows me to select an in and out point for transcoding.
Compressor opened right up… actually not right up. It was a little slow.
There’s no setting for my Elgato Turbo, so h264 is pretty slow. I’ll probably still render out a quicktime movie to use for encoding.
Oh where is my lovely QT reference option? I miss it terribly.

I’m calling it FCX. They took the “pro” out, so I will too.

Nope, brand new machine. Nothing on it. I’ll keep tinkering and see what I find. Hoping someone has a solution…
