Already posted to You Tube and all. Looking to be able to play movies from hard drive – have movie fill the screen and play from file on hard drive.

What file format to use in Compressor ?

If you gonna play the movie from a Mac, you don’t need to “Send to Compressor..” nothing.
Export a self contained movie with the current settings directly from FC.
Unless you are using an slow system/HD or you edit on a heavy codec, you should be able to play the movie without problems.
About filling the screen and the display aspect, will depends on our sequence settings, but you haven’t mentioned it.

thought to use compressor and choose Apple TV as the best format for someone to watch movie on laptop or via a TV monitor. Was also looking for compressor to queue up 67 batch movies to process.

What format would be best to export for general viewing on a PC laptop and for the non-mac infidel types ?

Again, already have loaded jobs to Youtube – looking to deposit many files on a harddrive for delivery to a customer to view independent of the internet.

any “specific” instructions or a hotlink would be very much appreciated

    thank you
