    Hey guys,

We’re looking to create a server that records from an SDI card (let’s say a Kona LS) on a scheduled basis. We’d like to record to Quicktime DV. And even harder… we’d like to do 2 at the same time so we’d need 2 Kona cards running. Is there a piece of software (WinXP or OS X) that will get us to that? Of course, we’d like to be able to put this all onto one box, but if not we can build two indpendent boxes. Also, if there’s a way to do this that doesn’t use the Kona cards, that’s fine. But I just like the quality of the Kona’s and they have SDI with Analog audio inputs, which is also a requirement. Basically, we’re looking for a broadcast quality DVR.

The use of this is for recording our newscasts for future promo editing purposes. We have 2 newscasts coming out of our building at simultaniously in the morning and at 6p & 11p.

    Thanks in advance.
