Selling almost-new Mac Pro/Resolve system
Hello fellow users,
I’m going to be listing my 3-month old Mac Pro, WAVE, and Decklink Card for sale soon. I wanted to first see if there might be any interested parties in here. I’m in Los Angeles.
This was spec’d out specifically to run Resolve. Here is what I will be selling:
• 2010 8-core 2.4GHz “Westmere” Mac Pro (3 mos. old) with
—8TB internal RAID and 500GB system drive (4 x 2TB drives software RAIDed + system drive moved into optical bay)
—12GB RAM (memory from OtherWorldComputing.com)
—nVidia GTX285
—nVidia GT120
—AppleCare (until September 2013)• Tangent WAVE (only a few months old)
• Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D (purchased with computer)
• Resolve software license key
This system has worked VERY well for me. It’s very fast and responsive. I recently graded a project (in 7.1) using 1920×1080 DPXs off the internal RAID and had zero performance issues. I will be sad to see this beauty go. I’m open to offers for everything or individual parts, though would prefer not to separate the GPU’s from the tower.
I realize this is not a classified forum, but wanted to offer up to fellow Resolve users first before going the eBay route.
