My company has developed and produced a childrens television show. It’s in the vein of Blue’s Clues, but it teaches English as a Second Language. We’ve shot 12 episodes and will have 26 half-hour episodes when we’re finished with the full season. Because it teaches ESL, it is primarily meant for foreign markets. Up to this point we’ve only sold our ESL software in other countries; this TV thing is new to us. We have people interested in Korea and other places, but we have no idea where to even start negotiations for broadcasting rights.

Obviously there are many factors: exclusivity, repeated airings, etc., but that aside, can anyone give me even a rough, rough, ballpark estimate for what to ask for? Again, 26 half-hour episodes. Thank you.
