Self Contained Movie Files..Export Issue
I am having some strange issues trying to export my project as a self contained file. I have made several attempts and I keeping getting a message that says:
“FILE ERROR I/O”
I was finally able to successfully export it out after 5 attempts. When I went to open the file on my hard drive, it said FILE CANNOT BE OPENED! Also the file was saved to my folder on my HD where I save finished work and it had the name of the project with -AV1 at the end of it. What is that all about?
I checked my sequence several times for any errors I could see and didnt see anything wrong. My Sequence settings are MATCHED!!!
I need to export this out so I can burn a DVD so if you have any suggestions that would be great.
Ok well as I was writing this message, I checked my Laptop and it looks like it finally exported correctly! I am not sure why it keeps adding (-av1) at the end of the name of the project that has been exported! Anyone know why? It seems as though it exported 2 files this last try! I have one with the -av1 at the end and one without. The one without is the file that actually plays with no problems!

Do you have enough room on your hard disk for a self contained movie? How long is it?

The TRT= 12:35 and yes I have plenty of space on my external HD for this short project.

What I would do is go into the render manager (Tools > Render Manager) and delete all the render files (audio and video) for that sequence, rerender then reexport.
