Selection Tool Glitch?
I had been running CS4 without any problems but recently, after going through regular updates, encountered this: My selection tool is a weird square… It is no longer an arrow no matter what tool I select. It is fine anywhere within After Effects except in the Composition Panel. The same thing is happening in my photoshop except there it is 3 images of whatever tool I select side by side. Anyone have this happen with their AE? Thanks.

Did you hit the V key to revert the tool?

I did try the v key but no luck. It seemed to be fine until I ran through some updates. It actually runs fine but the simplest things like dragging are made difficult since the arrow is a square…
